About the Harless Genealogy Website:

In late 2001, after finding many favorite sites with information on each's Harless Line and also, the Harless Association had no website, I decided to create the Harless Genealogy site, to promote the Association and to aid all persons researching the surname Harless*, for genealogy purposes. The main objectives are to provide an easy way for persons to communicate with the Harless Association and to provide web space for the Harless* researchers, to post public records, histories, obituaries or other items that they would be willing to share with other researchers. The Harless Genealogy Website is owned by Kathy Lynn.   I have every intention to keep this site free and without commercials.

When I use the term "Harless*", I'm am refering to the surnames: Harless, Harliss, Hurless, Herlass, which include but not limited to Horles, Hasler, Harlash, and other variants.

Corrections and other Complaints:

First, let me say that I will only be posting information that is of Public Record.  I will Not post any information on any living family members (other than their name) without their approval.  Please understand, I am working with thousands of names and this work is being done by hand. With this kind of volume, mistakes sometimes happen and I might inadvertently post sensitive information about a living member.  If this happens, first let me say, I'm truly sorry and if you would please fill out the Corrections form, I'll make the correction as soon as possible.

Upon request, I will also do the following:

  1. remove your name and insert the word Living in its place.
  2. remove information on spouses that you would just as soon forget about. However, please remember that this is Family History.  I can not change history nor can I change public records. I can only change this web site.
